iCD Training Appointments

In order to make the best use of our products, we offer our customers training courses. Training sessions are held regularly in the training rooms of iCD in Köln-Müngersdorf. These are available for different levels, from end users to application managers to system managers. The dates can be found below.

Training starts on the first day at 09:00 and ends at 17:00 on the last day. Registrations are taken into account in the order of receipt. If the training is already fully booked, you will be notified immediately and notified of the next possible date. If the registration of a participant is withdrawn, we ask for written notification. Upon receipt of this notice up to 5 days before the start of the course, a handling fee of EUR 50 per cancelled participant will be charged. In case of a later cancellation or in case of no-show, the full fee must be paid. iCD reserves the right to cancel the course at least one week before the start of the training due to insufficient number of participants.

LABS/Q® Basics (3 days)

The focus of this training is to show the individual modules of LABS/Q® – especially master data – and their interrelationships, so that the necessary procedure is learned at the start of the LABS/Q® implementation. The working method and the operating options are taught and trained on the basis of practical examples. General knowledge of the laboratory process in the quality control during production (in analytical laboratories) is required. The target group: Key User.

LABS/Q® Certificates (1 day)

This training is about creating customer certificates. An example shows how certificates are requested and processed in LABS/Q®. It explains LABS/Q® configurability during the creation of certificates. Furthermore, the necessary master data for the creation of a certificate is shown. The target group: Key User.

LABS/Q® Instrument Management (1 day)

This training is intended to show the handling and possibilities of the LABS/Q® integrated instrument management. Working techniques, prerequisites (master data) and operating options are taught and trained on the basis of practical examples and exercises. The target group: Key User.

LABS/Q® Stability Testing (1 day)

This training shows the possibilities for comprehensive mapping of stability studies with LABS/Q®. In the exemplary business transaction, the participants will learn all about how LABS/Q supports durability and stability tests from study planning to test sample storage to study evaluation. The target group: Key User.

VALIDAT Statistical Basics (1 day)

In this training you will get an introduction to the necessary mathematics and statistics. It’s about mean, standard deviation, UK, distributions, Statistical tests, outliers, trending, normal distribution, homogeneity, regression, fits, trust areas and graphs. When it comes to calculation and rounding accuracy, the limits of the calculation methods are discussed. You will learn special calculations for z-scores, straggler tests, Pure Error and Lack of Fit, f1 and f2 tests.

VALIDAT Basic Training (1 day)

This training gives an introduction to VALIDAT, gives an overview of the program shows you the security after 21 CFR Part 11. You will learn different concepts and first steps from planning to report. You will also learn the features of VALIDAT, program options and configuration, the steps from planning to data entry and reporting, and how to set up interfaces to CDS and LIMS. Another point is the reporting and working with text variables, result variables, file punch limits and details of the report design. Using examples, validations are performed and templates are presented.

VALIDAT Reporting Workshop (1 day)

With this training, you’ll dive deeper into the detailed reporting capabilities. Learn about using text variables and arrays, result variables, auxiliary variables, acceptance limits, text modules, custom reports, and custom formulas.  Facilitate your work by using templates and predefined layouts. Another point is report editing, e.g. the User Edited Report. You will understand what export formats are available. There are also detailed practical examples in this training.

VALIDAT System Management (1 day)

In this training you will learn more about the operational planning and installation of your VALIDAT system. What modules and interfaces are there? Other points include installation and database setup, qualification (IQ, OQ, PQ), configuration and configuration files, general user specific settings, default validations and templates, and the rollout of settings. Maintenance and support include important regular tasks (logs, backups), troubleshooting, how to optimize program performance and how to use the documentation sources. It then shows installation examples of local, server, terminal server and citrix, operation in virtualized environments and interfaces (to CDS and LIMS).

VALIDAT Dissolution Module (1 day)

The main focus of this training is the introduction of the Dissolution module. Learn project planning, creating dissolution projects, planning details, planning and data port, and USP acceptances. In the reports and graphs, you will learn how to create release reports, configure the report, create templates, and explore the possibilities of the release graphic. In the Compare module, release comparisons with the comparison database are created, f1 and f2 calculations are performed and an import of runs from legacy systems is shown.
